The experience equation

There is a significant difference in the Palin vs. BO experience equation.

BO's experience is sufficient in the view of millions of Democratic primary voters.

Palin's experience is sufficient in the opinion of one man!

A surprisingly negative editorial in the Washington Post today (which has a pretty right wing editorial board).

"But the most important question Mr. McCain should have asked himself about Ms. Palin was not whether she could help him win the presidency. It was whether she is qualified and prepared to serve as president should anything prevent him from doing so.....it was especially crucial that Mr. McCain - who turns 72 today - get this choice right."

Obama and Biden need to stop prefacing their speeches with McCain being a war hero and Palin being a skilled politician and instead go for the jugular. No more "bi-partisan" talk or else they will get chewed up by the culture warriors of the Repub party.Deja vu anybody?

What prevents them from stating explicitly that Palin has no relevant experience to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency? I was disappointed by Obama's tepid interview on the Olbermann show tonight. Haul back Palin and her handlers from the 1950s to the present to give them a wake up call or we'll be remniscing about how good Obama's organizational skills were in running his campaign which in the end did not quite measure up to the his run on the home stretch.
