Rather Violent Move to the Center?
Most Presidential nominee's start at the left or right and then veer to the center as the election nears and they appeal to the undecided / independent. However, some of Obama's moves in this regard are worrisome - specifically, his stance on guns, pro-choice, and, capital punishment. I must confess I was really upset when Obama signed off on the FISA bill giving telecoms immunity, after promising to fight the immunity provision. I've forgiven him for it since, if that's what it will take for him to win (I know, shameless :).
I see Obama as a pragmatist first and foremost, and I think that's what we need after 8 years of arrogance, corruption and blind ideology in the face of all facts and science.
